PRE-SURGICAL ANESTHESIA
- Please notify the office if there is any change in your physical condition such as a cold, flu, or fever.
- Nothing to Eat or Drink 6 hours before surgery not even water. You may brush your teeth, but be careful not to swallow any liquids.
- A responsible adult driver must accompany you, and stay in the office at all times during your surgery. If the patient is under 18, he/she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Wear comfortable clothing which is neither tight nor binding. A short sleeve shirt is preferred. Please, no flip-flops or high heels.
- No strenuous physical activities 24 hours following your surgery. Please allow time for healing and make proper arrangements with your employer, school, and or sports team.
- If you are currently taking medications, please take them as you normally would with a small sip of water unless otherwise directed by the doctor performing your surgery.
- Please review your financial sheet and arrange to bring your co-payment with you.
